I don't know if this has been mentioned, but if you attack an enemy running away with a weapon, he'll come back.

I tried this using a spear on my ele, and it worked when Rekoff tried to kite.

I never snare, Never. I just use my staff to bring them back. Instead of ether feast I use air of superiority. Usually Rekoff is pwned in under 5 seconds so her attacks are nearly irrelevant. Nice build specially since Shadow Farm (oops form) was nerfed. God bless Anet, for I am Hating on them.

the build i use is the same as the first persons, but take out ward against foes (which really isn't needed) and take ebon battle stand of honor or intesity

This build works-very well.

I mean, i was trying it out in normal mode, i got 1 white dye! and 1 silver dye in one run. This run is wierd. Lots of good stuff, buy usually nothing from boss. But still a good run because of ele swords, rekoff daggers and dye drops. Whoever thought of this is a genius. Stops Anet nerfing elites!

if you're doing normal mode just take Phoenix w/ 16 fire and that can kill all the little buggers in 1 hit

Im not sure about the boss. The boss would kill you as you did, unless you targeted the boss, when it would get double the damage. Good point.

^^ i bring the same thing except i have glyph of renewal instead of echo and magnetic aura instead of ether feast. things die so fast that you don't need to replenish health.

I use the Me/E variation just fine, and my Mesmer hasn't even done the attribute quests yet (Tyrian-born, and I can't be bothered to do the desert missions). Just sometimes I can't kill the boss (once I get the remaining attribute points I can raise Earth Magic to where it should be so I'll be able to get it every time), but otherwise I can clear the cave no problem.

I guess it's time to revive this thread with the nerf of Mantra of Resolve.

The HM Speed Variant (OgVTMyEzSat8rqUgHKXEu0EICA) still works, but I replace EBSoH with Mental Block (OgVDMZycSrlfVlCmARAwl8QxlA) for a little more security.

I tried using Glyph of Elemental Power to make Stoneflesh Aura last longer for the MoR recharge, but it didn't quite work.

There isn't really time to gather up all nestlings, so I get 28-31 kills at the moment, but very fast runs. Just cast everything before aggro. Cast Mindbender. Aggro everything and run to aggro Rekoff just before recast. Recast everything within Mindbender with MoR. Have fun! Recast MoR whenever available (recharge after rekoff and from air of superiority). You should only have 1min on the /age timer.

Cast 1-2-3 at cave entrance. Efficiently aggro all roving groups of raptors (don't kill your run by chasing every straggler and having your run skill die prematurely). Once you caught the Broodmother's attention:

[Mantra of Resolve] - 5 second nerf is fine, that's all you'll need
[Sliver Armor]
[Ebon Battle Standard of Honor]
[By Ural's Hammer!] ([Intensity] is fine too)

You should be doing about 48 damage per sliver hit depending on your various ranks. Broodmother normally will go down before the sliver runs out. As soon as your get the recharge, go ahead and recast Channeling, Magnetic Aura (and Mindbender too if you are using it). This will aid in your energy not getting drained by Mantra of Resolve absorbing interrupts. When Sliver starts to blink, recast your remaining bar again. Start pickup up your loot now! (";","space",";","space"....). Once your 2nd sliver runs out, the run is over. Zone out and do it again. You should get around 29-31 kills plus the Broodmother.

BTW. HUGE tip. If you didn't already know this trick: When you run our to Riven Earth, run back to Rata Sum through the gate, and run back out to Riven Earth again. Now when you type "resign" you will be right next to the gate every time. And PLEASE don't screw around worry about taking leechers (unless you really want to help someone), they DON'T do anything for your drops.

Use a SUPERIOR Earth run and staff with 20% enchanting mod. Some people like to use [Air of Superiority], but I feel it is unnecessary. 2 casts of boosted sliver armor is really all you need to get about 30 kills. A third cast to kill like 1-2 more is just a waste of time.

I've run that build for over a year now.......still works just as good as the day I first ran it. The heal skill is optional......personally, I recommend subbing it for EBSoH. I would have at the time, but my vanguard rank wasn't very high then. Now....it uber pwns.

I clear it (including boss) in about 2.5 minutes in that video.......with EBSoH you can do it in well under 2 I think.

Either way, it's safer than the original build. Make sure you keep a wall to their left so they dont scatter.
